CERV - Northfield RISES
Northfield RISES group members will be volunteering at CERV’s food pantry every 4th Saturday of the month.
RISES Spring Dessert Potluck
Please join us Sunday, May 17, 2-3 pm at the United Church in Northfield for our first Spring Members Meeting.
The meeting will take the form of a Potluck Meal, but with a twist - no salads or main meal offerings - just desserts. So bring just a dessert to share. As the saying goes, when the going gets rough, eat desserts first!
In between feasting on desserts and talking with known and new neighbors, we'll do a quick recap of Northfield RISES activities over the past months, take a look at some of the events and volunteer opportunities -- local, statewide, national-- planned for the summer months that could fit well into our Northfield RISES Schedule.
And there'll be a bit of music too - old and new songs of protest and support for justice. Let us know if you're a musician who'd like to add your voice and instrument to our music team.
Again, your voice and thoughts are important so please plan on attending! And don't forget about the dessert!
St. Mary's Community Meal and Living Supply Closet
Northfield RISES will be volunteering their time to assist St. Mary’s with their community meal and Living Supply Closet event where will be doing anything from serving meals, washing dishes, organizing supplies, or just chatting with folks in the community looking to spend some quality time together!

We are on the No Kings map!! When the church bells ring at 10am, please join us on the Common and in front of the United Church for a local rally. We will not have scheduled speakers, but this is an opportunity to connect with like-minded folks to discuss and share thoughts, show off signs, recruit new members, and participate in a Honk and Wave. Folks will then have time to travel to the Rally at the State House
